Recap of first leg of the trip

• 9 days of biking
• Hot first few days
• Fell behind a day in Portland, mechanical
• Hot still biking out of Portland
• Climbed near Mt Hood
• First rain
• Cool after with cold nights
• Sarah's frozen like a popsicle 3 nights (miss labeled bag?)
• Climbed a total of about 19k feet
• Traveled 480 miles (garmin died once)
• Some of us have ankle tan lines
• Saw some riders of the Trans America race
• Beautiful canyons
• Beautiful mountains
• Food went from foodie to cafeteria lunch
• Chocolate chips are in short supply here
• Hashbrowns over home fries here
• Had a u nique hostel mate
• Bought donuts at a hardware store
• Made it to Boise
• Saw some Backroads friends
• Isabel got her second shot
• Trying to find a route to Pocatello that's not too remote

We'll ride today if Isabel's feeling OK. Either way we'll have to vacate th Airbnb as it is rented tonight
